For the past several weeks, you’ve probably been hearing about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is working in close collaboration with city, state and federal partners to manage cases of COVID-19 as they arise here and to prevent local spread.
Like you, we are dedicated to ensuring that all Chicagoans get trusted information about our local situation. We want the general public to have timely, accurate updates about the COVID-19 response and what they can do to protect themselves and others.
So you’ll begin receiving emails from my office about the City’s response – including press releases, new guidance, and other important information. We ask that you share these resources widely with your networks, colleagues, clients, friends, neighbors, hobby buddies, and families. You can also access local, up-to-date information about COVID-19 on the CDPH website and on the City of Chicago site, as well as sign up to receive the latest updates.
See here for my video comments regarding recent COVID-19 news.
