Dear Neighbors,
Good evening. My office would like to make sure the community is informed about a recent shooting that occurred in the 40th Ward. On Saturday morning, in the 2800 block of W. Foster Avenue, police report that a man was shot once in the arm following an altercation. Fortunately, his injury is not life-threatening. I have been in communication with 20th District Commander McCrudden about the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
My office will keep residents updated regarding any developments.
