Later this summer at 6p on July 10, 2023, the Department of Transportation (CDOT) plans to convert Leavitt St. from Diversey Pkwy to Bowmanville Ave to a Neighborhood Greenway to calm car traffic and create a safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians. This will involve adding speed humps and striping a contraflow bike lane to allow cyclists to travel in both
directions.
