Host Your Community Event!
Members of the public are welcome to apply to host an event, free of charge. Requests for events at Ainslie Arts Plaza must be submitted one month prior to the date of the event.
- Submission Deadlines: Requests for events at Ainslie Arts Plaza must be sent to the 40th Ward Office at least one month prior to the date of the event.
- Keep Parking Spaces, Meters Clear: Access to any parking spaces controlled by meters or pay boxes must be maintained at all times.
Please note, event requests may be denied for the following reasons:
- Traffic control issues
- Issues related to other permits issued in the vicinity of the event
- Public safety concerns
- Incomplete application (missing information)
- Scheduling conflicts, overlapping event times (see the calendar above for available slots)
- Weather alerts
