- Administrative Coordinator
Before joining the 40th Ward Office, Marina (Mars) Gendry helped manage Alderperson Vasquez’s 2023 re-election campaign. She loves being a part of the 40th Ward community, and is committed to contributing to the 40th Ward’s growth and prosperity. As the Administrative Coordinator, Marina is responsible for Ward office scheduling, responding to neighbor concerns via our Info account, and other administrative tasks that help keep the office running.
With a background in herbalism, Marina is passionate about environmental conservation and hopes to be a part of new avenues for environmental stewardship in her new Chicago home. She is fluent in Arabic and dedicates her free time to creating contemporary mixed media artwork.
