Samantha Martinez

Samantha (she/her) has been at the 40th Ward office since May 2023 and serves as the Neighbor Services Coordinator. Sam’s favorite part of this role is solving constituents’ problems and connecting them with the appropriate resources. She is focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone that comes to the office. Before this role, Sam was involved in community engagement efforts in different areas, including her college campus, an introspective retreat for high-school students, and with groups of first-generation college students. As a proud Chicago resident, Sam is excited to meet and help 40th Ward neighbors, and share knowledge on City processes. Sam speaks both English and Spanish, so she can also help Spanish-speaking constituents! In her free time, Sam enjoys reading, movie marathons, and pop culture.
