On Tuesday May 11, around 8:00pm, there was a shooting that resulted in a homicide on the 6000 block of N California (Beat # 2413).
Alderman Vasquez has been in contact with CPD 24th District Commander. Area 3 detectives are investigating; no suspects are in custody at this time.
We will update neighbors as the investigation progresses and we ask that residents contact CPD and the 40th Ward office to report any activity
