Home Electrification Savings
Join the Home Electrification Savings Working Group to help fellow residents electrify their home and car, saving them money on utilities and fuel, reducing their carbon-dioxide emissions, and improving indoor and outdoor air quality!
This working group will research and communicate to residents about incentives available through the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act (including tax credits and upcoming rebates), connect them to local businesses who can install green technologies, and working through questions or concerns they may have about the process.

Compost Pilot Program
Hey, neighbors! Do you love learning new things and making a difference in your community? We’re looking for a few good humans to help us gather research for a 40th Ward composting pilot program.
Our working group meets every two weeks from June through October to share info about successful programs in other cities and what we would need to have in place to make municipal composting successful in Chicago.
