The 40th Ward office has received a request to rezone 2415-25 W Peterson Ave. from B3-2 to C1-2 zoning in order to allow for a cannabis dispensary to open at that location.
Zoning change requests may be submitted to the City at any time by property owners and/or developers. Our team is committed to a transparent zoning process that includes a public meeting and feedback period. Holding of a public meeting does not imply support or opposition from the Ward. Alderperson Vasquez does not issue letters of support or opposition until the public process is complete.
